Ohio

• ROGERS HUNTING CLUB North of Ohio on the Maytown Road west of Rt. 26 (727 Maytown Road). Controlled hunting club. Duck, pheasant, quail, partridge and turkey. Season: October 1 - March 31. Call 2 days in advance for reservations. (

  SAND PRAIRIE FARMS HUNTING PRESERVE 5 miles northwest of Ohio (185 Rodgers Road). Licensed hunting club. Pheasant, quail, partridge, turkey, chuckars, dove and deer. Membership required. Season: Sep. 1 - Apr. 1. Call 2 days in advance for reservations.

Princeton

• ALEXANDER PARK AND SWIMMING POOL Anderson Street. Park has tennis courts, picnic shelter and playground equipment. The pool is open to the public. Charge for pool only. Summer: 1-5 and 6-8.	BUREAU COUNTY METRO CENTER 837 Park Avenue West Meeting rooms/classrooms, banquet and reception facilities, 25 yard competitive indoor pool, indoor walking/running track, wading pool, racquetball/walleyball courts, jacuzzi and dry sauna, game room, full court gym with basketball and volleyball and weight room. Daily charge available. .
  CITY-COUNTY PARK On Route 26, North of Princeton. Park is located on two different levels off of Route 26. Provides picnic areas, outdoor grills, shelters, ball diamonds, playground equipment and nature trails. or Supt.	WYATON HILLS GOLF COURSE Routes 6 and 34, west of Princeton. Nine hole course, driving range, golf cart rental, picnic areas, lounge. Open to the public.

Sheffield

• HENNEPIN CANAL PARKWAY STATE PARK AND MAUTINO STATE PARK Off I-80, Route 40. Originally a man-made corridor to transport commercial waterway traffic. Now provides fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, camping, bicycling, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and equestrian use. A fee for camping only. Open 24 hours year round. Brochure available.   HIDDEN LAKE COUNTRY CLUB RR 2 18 hole course, driving range, golf cart rentals, sauna, whirlpool, fishing, restaurant & lounge. Golf is closed to the public on Sunday, and Tues. and Wed. afternoons. There is a fee. Seasonal reservations.

Spring Valley

• BARTO LANDING Route 89 on Illinois River. 3 boat ramps, parking and good fishing.

  SPRING CREEK GOLF COURSE Exit 70 off hole course, driving range, golf cart rental, lounge group & corporate outings available. There is a fee.

Tiskilwa

• INDIAN HILLS GOLF COURSE One mile south of Tiskilwa. Nine hole course, golf cart rental, snack bar, small lounge. Open to the public. (

  LOCK 11, HENNEPIN CANAL 1/2 mile north of Tiskilwa. Fishing, snowmobiling, canoeing, hiking and bird watching.

Walnut

• GREEN RIVER COUNTRY CLUB 2 miles east of Walnut on Route 92. Nine hole course, golf cart rental, restaurant and lounge. There is a fee. Reservations preferred on weekends and holidays. Clubhouse open March thru October. The course is open except Wed. & Thur. afternoons and Fri. evening.

  WALNUT PARK DISTRICT POOL & PARK Sunset Avenue. Outdoor swimming pool, ball diamonds, community shelter, playground and tennis courts. There is a fee.
