  The museum and library are located in the historic Clark-Norris Home. Four floors are filled with outstanding collections of Bureau County history. Family information and photographs of early residents are available from the Henry W. Immke Photographic Archive. 1-5 Wed. thru Mon. all year.

• HENNEPIN CANAL PARKWAY MUSEUM One mile south of I-80 on Rt. 40. Contains a variety of educational information including the history of the canal, environmental and animal displays.   SHEFFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM Corner of Cook and Washington The two-story, twelve room museum houses an excellent reference and research library of artifacts from in and around Sheffield. Rooms in the museum include military, clothes of yesteryear, school, doctor's and dentist's office and art. Donations appreciated. Nov. thru May 10:30- 4 Tues. & Fri., 11-4 Sat., 12-4 Sun. June thru Oct. 12-4 Tues. thru Sun.

Wyanet

• HENRY THOMAS MUSEUM North of fire station. Potpourri of early and recent Bureau County history. The museum pays tribute to the first white family to settle in Bureau County in 1828. By appointment. Brochure available Village of Wyanet 201 E. North Wyanet, IL 61379

  WYANET HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM Main Street. Located in oldest original building in Wyanet. Newspaper histories of Wyanet for the past 100 years. Information of school, canal, railroad, military and family histories.
